The Virginia Big Break Competition format is comprised of a one-day qualifier to make the Combine Competition. The qualifier will be held at Kingsmill Resort, Williamsburg, VA on the Woods course, June 27, 2010 at 9:00 am. Entry fee for the qualifier is $110.00, includes buffet. Individuals posting 92 and below will qualify and move on to the Power Plant Combine Competition held at Fords Colony, Williamsburg, VA. The Power Plant Combine Competition cost $110 for those qualifying. After qualifying please revisit the site and pay your entry fees for the Power Plant Combine. The Power Plant Combine consists of several mock golf shots. A point system will be utilized for each segment. Segments will cover long and short game, bunker shots, execution, performance, ball control and accuracy. The Combine Competition days are August 11, 12 and 13, 2010. Those making the cut will compete again on August 26 and 27, 2010. Those making this cut will have established themselves for the Skins Game held on August 28, 2010 at Fords Colony where the winner of the Big Break will be determined. Actual Power Plant Competition is 6 days long however all qualifiers will not compete on the same days. Qualifiers will compete for 3 days. First segment is between August 11-13. Second segment is between August 26-27. Third segment is the Skins Game on August 28th. Remember, entry frees are tax deductible! WINNER GOES TO LAS VEGAS!!
